Welcome to Badgers Class!

Our topic for the Summer term is 'The Enormous Turnip.'
We will be learning about how different plants grow and what we need to do to look after them.

In Badgers Class we love listening to stories! We will be reading 'The Enormous Turnip' and we will learn an action song to retell the story. We will be reading Jack and the Beanstalk and planting our own runner beans in special 'window greenhouses.' We will be watching our beans grow and change each day!

In Badgers Class we are passionate about exploring different art media and learning about artists. We will be recreating our own sunflowers whilst finding out about Vincent Van Gogh and we will be producing monoprint images of fruit in an Andy Warhol 'Pop Art' experience.

Later in the Summer Term Badgers Class are hoping to visit Holt Country Park and explore Forest School activities in the woodlands with the park rangers.

We hope you have enjoyed visiting our class page. Please come back and visit soon when we have more exciting news and pictures for you to see!
